Another trip to Disneyland for the holidays. Characters are in their Christmas attire and waiting to visit all. Santa is there for a visit as well. A very busy week even though Thanksgiving weekend just ended. The prices and lines have not stopped people from coming. Get ready to wait for most of the rides. Get the Disney app to help navigate you through Disneyland and the Grand California park. This will tell you the wait times and if the rides are down.
Dining is always important, so make sure to make reservations at your favorite Disney restaurant. Breakfast with Goofy is always a fun time spent with the characters. They come to your table and interact only with your family. This is the time to get autographs and hugs without fighting the crowd in the parks. Take the interaction pictures as well as the poses.
Arendelle Welcomes Olaf is back. I love this area. Unlike last year, you can just walk in and get in line to meet Olaf or ride the tobogans down the slope. The clock tower where Princess Anna and Prince Hans of the Southern Isles danced stands high above a courtyard full of snow. The fountain that Elsa froze is there too. The snow inside is cold and fun to play in. Snacks and souvenirs are available to buy also.
A Christmas Fantasy Parade, Paint the Night, World of Color-Winter Dreams, Disney Viva Navidad, World of Color- Celebrate and Disneyland Forever Fireworks are all spectacular shows/parades not to be missed while you are visiting.
Get in the Holiday Spirit
Celebrate the season at the Downtown Disney Winter Village, where you’ll discover a fantastic Frozen-themed ice skating rink, quaint shopping chalets and lots more to delight one and all.
Merry Christmas to all and see you next year.
