Almost There Travel opened in January 2009 with a few laid off travel agents who still had a passion for travel and a stressed economy. We have since built a successful business, now with 12 travel agents and over 3000 happy clients. We have over 95 combined years of experience in traveling and selling travel to countries like Canada, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, Vietnam, Costa Rica, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Spain, North America, Belize, Germany, France, Turkey, Brazil and so many more countries. We belong to organized travel groups such as IATA and WESTA, Our agents specialize is cruising, groups, generation travel, destination weddings, honeymoons, business travel, youth travel and family getaways.

Our community is important to us as well. We are involved in many different groups in Antioch and beyond. We participate in Chamber events, work with Antioch Elderly Wish Foundation, participate in Graduating High School Safe and Sober Events, Church, Corvette and Classic Car Clubs and more. We are parents of elementary, middle school and high school students, where we assist with parent clubs, fundraisers, plays, sports or just helping in the classrooms.

Tammy Larsen(owner) offers a 3 month internship in the office to help those who are studying travel, to get a true hands on experience working in the travel industry. Most interns then decide to work as an independent agent after the 3 months and have been very successful building their own clientele.
